Glastonbury Festival, or Coachella's British cousin, is where you can see a rock performance, a magic show, and a live play all in one day. No, it's not a school annual function; it's a celebrated performing arts festival. It was founded by dairy farmer Michael Eavis in 1970.

Performing at this festival gives any artist a huge platform, and attending this festival gives the attendees a sure shot at losing their friends in the crowd!

Glastonbury is like Diagon Alley, with a lot of hustle and bustle. It is a place to see Romeo asking Juliet to marry him right next to a clown dancing on a unicycle. Then there will always be a one-man show telling everyone how miserable life has become in this economy.

Fan reaction to the first Glastonbury Festival lineup for 2025

The festival hosts some of the best musical acts in the world. Adele, Dua Lipa, Coldplay, Jay-Z, Dolly Parton, and The Rolling Stones are some of the great names that have graced the stage at this prestigious festival. The lineup has always attracted crowds from all over the world.

The lineup for this year just came out, but it seems like people aren't too thrilled. Many fans expressed their dislike in the most comical way with some hilarious memes.

The Festival will be held near Pilton, Somerset, England. Performances include contemporary music, dance, comedy, theatre, circus, cabaret, and other art forms.

Over the years, many acclaimed pop and rock artists have performed at the festival alongside several others who are waiting for their shot at becoming so famous that trashing a guitar on stage brings them fame and not a fine!

If you are a filmmaker or a recording artist, the festival is a great place to create content because your work will receive immense media coverage and publicity. The festival is attended by around 200,000 people every year, but its popularity attracts many gatecrashers, so the number easily goes up.
