Regarding Sony's ongoing symbiote tale, fans don't appear to be that enthusiastic. Instead of excitement, the news that Venom 3 would be available on Netflix on February 25 was met with a barrage of cynicism and taunting.

The Venom franchise has always evoked conflicting emotions in viewers. While there are fans of Tom Hardy's Eddie Brock depiction, the films' complicated plots and over-the-top computer effects have regularly garnered criticism. When it was revealed that Venom 3 would soon be available for streaming, the internet went bananas.

Venom 3 Netflix Announcement Goes Viral

When a big movie is released on Netflix, you would anticipate some excitement, but Venom 3's announcement was unexpected. Rather than rejoicing, followers flooded the news with witty and brutally candid remarks.

It all began when Netflix announced the movie's release on social media. However, the comments were full of mockery rather than hype, and soon the trolling became uncontrollable. The deluge of jokes, memes, and outright rejections demonstrated that not everyone was excited for more symbiote action.

The responses varied from mild indifference to outright derision. "No thanks" is a straightforward yet powerful way for one individual to express how they feel.

Another quipped, “Looks like a Ghoulie in that pic!” referencing the 80s horror-comedy creatures that, well, aren’t exactly known for being intimidating.

The trolling didn’t stop there. Someone else called it “a great movie to help people fall asleep.”

Ouch. Another chimed in with, “Horrible movie but I’ll give it a rewatch in 4K,” which feels like the ultimate backhanded compliment.

Then there were the skeptics, with one fan jokingly asking, “Is that a threat?” in response to Netflix’s announcement.

Another user didn’t hold back, warning newcomers, “Anyone who hasn’t seen this, save yourself the time and don’t.”

A fan-made one of the funniest comments, pointing out that Netflix frequently removes films soon after they are added: "Imagine waiting, then a year later they take it off." Everybody has been there.

Venom 3 will surely receive a respectable amount of views despite the roasting. A "so-bad-it's-good" movie may be adored by some, while others may simply want to see what all the excitement is about.

However, for the time being, the internet has spoken, and the results aren't particularly positive. Fans never miss an occasion to make jokes about Venom, regardless of whether they choose to stream it or not.

So, are you watching Venom 3 on Netflix? Or are you sticking with the No Thanks squad?
