Logan Paul and Conor Mcgregor are reportedly in the works to finalize a massive boxing bout slated to take place in India. The former took to X (formerly Twitter) on Tuesday to reveal that he is working out the details with the Ambani family of India to have the exhibition there.
The Dubliner has been out of the ring for over three years and is expected to make his way back to the Octagon come next year. He had a bout with Michael Chandler slated for June this year, though he later recanted from the same following a training injury involving a broken toe.
The announcement has since drawn varied reactions from many online, with users laughing at Connor's inability to stick to one thing. Here's what one user pointed out:
"we are living in a simulation."
The comments didn't end there.
"just randomly dropping this at 3AM is wild. Logan got to fight Floyd and now McGregor. wtffff," one user joked.
"lmao running to a payday for the lawsuits coming up, makes sense connor. just sad to see you go out this way. Logans going to knock you out too probably. Quite dissapointing," another opined.
"Bros getting paid," someone else quipped.
"Logan Paul exhibition? I hope this is a joke…" another prayed.
Even more chimed in:
"You’ve got to be kidding Conor," someone tweeted.
"NO ONE WANT TO SEE THAT !! Come on man since how long the mma community been waiting just get back in that cage plzzz," another user begged.
"This wasn't the Collab we all expected," a third person pointed out.
"This has to be a joke," yet another exclaimed.

On December 17, at around 2.40 am, Conor McGregor took to X to pen the following:
"The rumors of a bout with topurio are false. I am in preliminary agreements with the Ambani family to face Logan Paul in a boxing exhibition in India. I have agreed. I will then seek my return to the Octagon."
The Ambani family is an influential billionaire household. At the top of it is Mukesh Ambani, who is the richest person in Asia and 9th overall in the world. In October 2024, he dominated Forbes' list of India’s 100 richest tycoons, with a staggering net worth of $119.5 billion.
Conor Mcgregor has not been in the ring since July 2021, when he broke his leg during round 1 of his rematch against Dustin Poirier at UFC 264. The event was held in Las Vegas, and it marked his second consecutive loss and third overall in the last four bouts.
Prior to that, Conor Mcgregor switched over from MMA in 2017 to face off with Floyd Mayweather, though he lost via TKO in round 10. Since then, he has repeatedly expressed his interest in getting back to boxing, and per Irish Mirror, he made a whopping €100million from his fight with Mayweather.
