Tesla CEO Elon Musk took to X to render his take on Kamala Harris and Fox News anchor Bret Baier's interview. The former President Trump endorser ridiculed the Vice President in his tweet, posted on Thursday, accompanied by a segment of the 30-minute talk, which aired on Wednesday, October 15.

In the clip, Baier asks Kamala Harris why, after over three years of her assuming office, 79% of Americans think the country is on the wrong track, to which she responds by pivoting the conversation to Donald Trump. The two kept talking over each other, as Baier probed,
"If it's on the wrong track, that track follows three and a half years of you being Vice President and President Biden being president. That is what they're saying, 79% of them. Why are they saying that if you've been in office for three and a half years? You've been the person in the office."
Harris retorted,
"And Donald Trump has been running for office since... Come on," she said. "You and I both know what I'm talking about."
However, Baier asserted,
"I actually don't, what are you talking about."
The internet reacted mercilessly, with many pointing out that the Madam Vice President seemingly did not know how to answer Baier's questions. Many echoed Musk's comments, noting that watching Kamala Harris squirm was "hilarious."
"Can we all just agree she has no business representing America?" one user beckoned.
"It really was. It's like we are in the twilight zone. I cannot believe this is happening sometimes," another user expressed.
"doing all of SNL's writing for them," another user joked.
"Bret got under her skin, more importantly, he made her look like the incompetent fool that she is. She couldn’t answer any of the questions. The chefs kiss was when he asked her when she noticed Biden’s decline. This interview was a disaster for her," someone shared.
Several others ridiculed Kamala Harris for how she handled the interview.
"This interview went really well ...For Donald J Trump," one user pointed out.
"She doesn’t know what she is talking about, and this person is suppose to run the country?" another questioned.
"She doesn't even care enough to learn decent talking points. For the highest position of power in America..," yet another claimed.
Scores of users online were ostensibly teeming with rage, as many were disappointed at how Kamala Harris kept pivoting to Trump and dodging questions.

While Elon Musk's clip cuts short, the rest of the interview sees the Madam Vice President talk about how Trump is "unfit to serve," as she puts it.
"But listen, over the last decade, it is clear to me and certainly the Republicans who are on stage with me, the former chief of staff to the President Donald Trump, former defense secretaries, national security adviser and his vice president, one, that he is unfit to serve, that he is unstable, that he is dangerous, and that people are exhausted with someone who professes to be a leader who spends full-time demeaning and engaging in personal grievances and it being about him instead of the American people."
Baier pressed on, bringing in Kamala Harris' opponent's statistics.
"If that’s the case, why is half the country supporting him? Why is he beating you in a lot of swing states? Why, if he’s as bad as you say, that half of this country is now supporting this person who could be the 47th president of the United States? Why is that happening?"
Kamala responded, in a calm and collected manner, that this is a race for them to assume office, noting that it's "not supposed to be easy," or a "cakewalk for anyone."
During the interview, Harris also revealed her plans of carving her own path should she become president, different from that of her predecessor, incumbent President Joe Biden. She asserted that her "presidency will not be a continuation of Joe Biden’s presidency."
She added that "like every new president that comes into office," she "will bring [her] life experiences" and "professional experiences, and fresh and new ideas." She continued, claiming that she stands for a new generation of leadership.
