Duolingo updates its icon—X users can’t stop laughing: “Did someone revive bro?”

Duolingo is seemingly doing everything it can to stay relevant. The app first made headlines when it dissed Drake. Then, in a few hours, the mascot, a nuclear green owl, was declared dead.

At the time, the page issued a statement revealing that the cause of death was unknown, noting that authorities were looking into it.

"Tbh, he probably died waiting for you to do your lesson, but what do we know," the statement read hilariously.

Just today, however, it was revealed that the whole thing was a PR stunt to get everyone to use the app more (shocker, NOT). Now, the page has officially updated its profile picture to that of the owl, though this time, it seems to be screeching for some reason.
