It's just about two weeks until Marvel’s Thunderbolts hits theatres worldwide, and fans can’t wait to see their favorite unconventional group of antiheroes take on a dangerous mission after landing themselves in a deadly trap. With an impressive ensemble cast playing the superpowered misfits, there's one character in particular fans are especially hyped to see - the main antagonist himself!

Sentry, one of the most powerful characters in the Marvel Universe - said to be stronger than all the Avengers combined- will finally be making his big-screen debut in Marvel’s Thunderbolts. Played by Lewis Pullman, the overpowered superhero-turned-antagonist is set to be the film’s main villain. And while the teaser trailer only offered a glimpse of his silhouette, featuring a darkened face and glowing eyes, that brief first look has already sent fans into a frenzy, eagerly awaiting to see what the character will look like in full form.

Hilarious Fan Reactions

While fans were thrilled to see Sentry finally appear in the film, many couldn’t help but share their hilarious reactions to his first look being just a mysterious dark silhouette with glowing eyes.

"Handsome 😂😂😂," a fan wrote.

Turns out Sentry is that handsome, so much so that you don’t even need to see his face. Just his aura in that dark silhouette was enough for this fan to catch feelings!

"Watch it be Pedro Pascal," commented another.

Pedro Pascal seems to be in almost every major movie and TV show these days. Despite Lewis Pullman being officially cast as Sentry in Thunderbolts, fans still hilariously assume it's Pascal under that silhouette. Now that’s what you call being too successful!

Wait a minute. Don’t game shows usually show bankers and secret contestants as silhouettes? So, does that mean Sentry’s just Marvel’s version of “The Banker”?

"Is it a horror movie? Looks like he just woke up 😂," a fan said.

What if Marvel's just pulling a fast one, and Thunderbolts is actually a horror movie, with Sentry as the main ghost? This fan might just be onto something!

"How do we unlock him as a playable character?" joked another.

Aha, looks like we’re only seeing a silhouette of Sentry because we haven’t unlocked him as a playable character yet. Time to start clearing some levels!

The first look at Sentry may have amused many Marvel fans with his shadowy face and glowing eyes, but it’s definitely fueled the hype because, after all, fans know just how insanely powerful he is. Well, only a few days to go before we see him in action, as Thunderbolts hits theatres worldwide on May 1st!
