The internet's favorite troublemakers, Jake and Logan Paul, just released a poster of Paul American. The Pauls are going full Kardashian on us with their new reality TV show, which premieres on Max on March 27.
The series will be a no-filter dive into their lives, relationships, and the chaos accompanying them wherever they go.
And how on earth was the internet supposed to take this lightly? Come on, it’s Jake Paul and Logan Paul. The second that poster dropped, the jokes practically wrote themselves, and social media went straight into roast mode.
One X user labeled it as:
"The Kardashians but male."
Keeping Up with the Pauls—because we didn’t suffer enough already.
Without uttering a single word, this user said it all.
The universal reaction to this announcement in one perfect frame.
One user ironically mentioned:
"This is needed as much as another Mad Max prequel."
If redundancy had a subscription fee, this would be it.
Meanwhile, this user's reaction is top-tier roast:
The disappointment is LOUD.
If "a picture is worth a thousand words" had a face:
No caption needed.
With a resounding "Oh lord in heaven", a user shared a hilarious GIF:
A spiritual crisis in real-time.
We think this user needs 2 seconds of his time back:
This user blinked and regretted even acknowledging this.
A user went on to ask:
"Why... Just, why?"
Because logic and reason left the chat long ago.
The Paul brothers' surprise turn to reality TV
For months, the Paul brothers kept their fans on the edge of their seats, hyping up a cryptic new endeavor.
Of course, everyone thought they were going to fight each other for fun. What we actually got was a reality show, because we apparently needed even more Paul.
Paul American is effectively an all-access pass behind the scenes in their lives.
The show is teasing "never-before-seen" moments, which can be anything from sweet family moments to completely off-the-wall decision-making.
What is the show really about?
Other than the anticipated flaunting of wealth and virality, Paul American is getting into the nitty-gritty of their personal lives.
It's doing it all: their relationships, family drama, and likely at least one dramatic moment where someone pulls off a pair of sunglasses and says, "This changes everything."
The series will include archival footage in addition to new, unedited material that presents the Paul brothers outside of the internet phenomenon.
It hopes to "humanize" them—because all those YouTube clips weren't sufficient to demonstrate that they're human beings with feelings.
Who's in it? Get to know the Paul family
Their parents, Greg and Pam Paul, are along for the ride.
Also part of the ensemble are Logan's fiancée, Nina Agdal, and Jake's girlfriend, Jutta Leerdam.
Mark March 27 on your calendar, because that's when Paul American debuts on Max.
The show will air episodes weekly, culminating in a big season finale on May 15.
