If you’ve ever wished you could send your ex a message as smelly as your last conversation, well, congratulations, the Memphis Zoo in Tennessee is here to grant your wish. It has launched a unique and humorous promotion for funny Valentine's Day, allowing individuals to send a video of an elephant pooping to their exes.

Dubbed "Dating or Dumping," this initiative invites participants to choose between two heartwarming or gut-wrenchingly hilarious options for just $10: a red panda munching on a grape, or an elephant contributing to the circle of life.

Yes, an actual video of an elephant pooping.

All in the name of charity, of course.

So, what’s the deal?

According to their website, if you’ve got an ex who truly deserves a stinkin’ surprise, let an elephant do the talking. And don’t stop there. If you have a nosy neighbor who complains about your lawn decor—a poop video is incoming. Your mother-in-law who critiques every meal you cook? Consider her served.

As the zoo cheekily puts it, “Name a turd after a turd.”

Every purchase includes a digital thank-you card, just in case your recipient needs clarification on why they received footage of a giant animal answering nature’s call. At the end of the campaign, the zoo will even reveal the most popular names submitted.

Somewhere out there, someone’s ex is about to share a name with a pile of elephant dung, and the world is a better place for it.

The zoo’s website reads:

"Got an ex that deserves a stinkin' surprise? This Valentine's, let an elephant do the talking. Or maybe you've found the one and want to send them something adorable? Our red pandas have you covered".

This stinkin’ great offer runs until February 12, giving participants plenty of time to plan their revenge (or adorable love token).

But beyond the fun part, the initiative serves a higher purpose. Proceeds go toward caring for the over 3,500 animals at the Memphis Zoo, making this one of the most amusing ways to contribute to wildlife conservation.

“Only $10 each. Plus, your participation supports the care and conservation of over 3,500 animals at the Memphis Zoo. *Last names will remain confidential and are for order purposes only. The animals are ready - are you? The deadline to purchase is February 12th.”

Because they’re nothing if not inclusive, the Memphis Zoo isn’t just targeting exes. They know that grudges extend far beyond heartbreak. They gleefully posted on social media:

"Maybe it's your annoying neighbor, overbearing mother-in-law, ex, or that coworker who still gives you nightmares. This Valentine's, let an elephant do the talking and name a turd after a turd".
“With the Dumping option, you'll get a digital thank-you card + a stinky video to share. At the end of the campaign, we'll reveal the most popular names-so make your move! Visit our website to purchase today.”

Whether you're spreading love or settling old scores, the Memphis Zoo's "Dating or Dumping" campaign is the perfect mix of humor and charity—because nothing says closure like an elephant-sized surprise.
