Beast Games, the brainchild of MrBeast was a wild ride that gave us numerous memorable moments. As logic got thrown out of the window and absurdity was cranked up to eleven, a new meme was born! The hugely chaotic and entertaining show wrapped up in 2024 and a new season is in the works already. But it seems like the man with a billion subscribers does not have a bottomless pit of money after all, as he recently admitted that he went 'a little crazy' with Beast Games' budget.
Replying to the above X post, MrBeast reiterated:
Reactions erupt over MrBeast's confession of going overboard with Beast Games' budget
Beast Games was not just any competition, it was a full-on circus and taught us the valuable lesson of always expecting the unexpected when it comes to MrBeast. The prize itself was a gargantuan amount of money that sparked wild speculation on social media. And now it turns out that MrBeast doesn't have an infinite money glitch after all, as he confessed to going overboard with the budget.
Bear in mind that normal people's 'a little crazy' and MrBeast's 'a little crazy' are two different things altogether. He spent the entire GDP of a small nation just so that one of the participants could have a solid gold toilet, which is hilarious if you think about it. So when the internet caught wind of the confession, they absolutely eviscerated him with memes, sarcasm, and financial advice:
"Spending $100M+ outta pocket is more than just a “little crazy,” joked one fan (via X / @scubaryan)
"I would not be able to contemplate how stupid you are," remarked another (via X / @Lazemataz)
"He treats real money like its monopoly money," quipped another fan (via X / @averageclipper)
When MrBeast launched the bombshell that he spent $100 million out of his own pocket, the internet went bonkers. The fans argued that the show may have had its moments, but a $100 million outlay is bordering on the outlandish. To be fair, he could've produced a small Disney movie for the price of the Beast Games. Netizens are a special bunch, they trolled him mercilessly while also offering him financial advice at the same time!
One fan joked:
"Good he should stop making it then" (via X / @toniigworl)
While another fan empathized:
"I went a little crazy with mine too and spent all my 78 dollars last month", (via X / @sllmwhkspr)
MrBeast then went on to reveal that the first two episodes alone cost northwards of $50 million. Cue the drum rolls and mass hysteria arrives all over again! The Internet erupted with memes as fans tore him a new one, while mocking his version of 'a little crazy' with everyone else's. Some fans even suggested that he hire an accountant at the earliest.
While some fans couldn't resist poking fun at MrBeast, others chuckled at his honest naivety. They offered him words of encouragement and asked him to appreciate the silver lining in his losing tons of money:
"So many Guinness World Records were set", joked one fan (via X / @itshappenings)
"Wasn't the whole point of the show to break the record for most money given away on a show!", remarked another fan (via X / @quigon36)
Say what you want about him, MrBeast is a man of his word- he promised to give away tons of money, and he did! Kudos to him.
While fans might poke fun at his financial decisions, they also respect MrBeast's dedication to entertaining them. Only he could've managed to lose out on millions on the show and still come out a bigger star than before. But with Beast Games Season 2 already in the works with an even bigger prize pot, one can't help but wonder: is he going to make a habit of this?
We will get to know really soon.
