The recent episode of Family Guy shows Meg squaring off against Peter Griffin's eternal rival after Peter’s too bloated from donuts to brawl. Ernie showed admirably foolish restraint at first as he refused to hit her on account of Meg being a girl. Cut to the next scene: Ernie is running like the headless chicken he was reduced to, and Meg storms off the scene while holding his head like a prized trophy!

In one fell swoop, Meg went from being the Family Guy's punching bag to the ultimate rockstar. This had the internet in a bout of laughter as netizens couldn't get enough of the clip that went on the internet. Fans couldn't believe their eyes and took to social media to express their shock and excitement at the absurdity of the situation. One fan (@YouKnowItsCap) joked that Ernie had it coming:

Say what you want about Ernie, you can't fault him for his persistence. Even after getting his head severed multiple times, he always finds a way to come back from any calamity that may befall him. Death? Divorce? It doesn't matter. It's like he has made his life's mission to haunt Peter even in the afterlife. Let's just hope Meg put a full stop to all of his shenanigans!

Meg was able to entirely change her perception in the eyes of the viewers with her latest episode. Frankly, it was about time that she snapped and taught the others a lesson. Poor Ernie must be cursing himself and wondering if only he had not touched her spaghetti that time...
