As we all know, Phoebe Waller Bridge's 'Fleabag' is all sorts of crazy. In every episode, you'll dig deeper into her character's complexities and her relationship with her family, her friends, and even her lovers. But one thing about the show's genius is its memes, especially the "Fleabag reading the Bible" meme.

Why is the Fleabag Bible meme trending?

The Fleabag Bible meme is trending because...someone on X posted a tweet with the meme and some users tweeted their favorite funny Bible moments.

Once the funny Bible moments started to gain traction, the Fleabag Bible meme was reborn! Because of the meme, a lot of X users reminisced about their Fleabag era—even their Bible girliepop era!

To those who don't know what the "Fleabag reading the Bible" meme is, it's basically Fleabag reading the Bible in her bathtub. Why is she reading the Bible? Well, it was given to her by someone she likes who, unfortunately is, a priest.

So to keep her on the good side of the priest, she read the Bible so that she and the priest could talk about Biblical stories. If you're curious about her storyline with the priest, watch the Season 2 of 'Fleabag' and get ready to cry especially with their scenes!

So now, are you ready to be fully immersed in some Biblical stories that can make you react just like Fleabag?

Let's begin!

Now, we all know that the Bible has 2 parts: The Old Testament, and The New Testament. If you ask people, they will always answer that The Old Testament is their main bias because well...it has everything! Case in point:

"Cain really started the whole gaslighting movement. Wild." - one user replied

The Bible stories that can make Fleabag feel confused

The Old Testament's sense of "God" is very intriguing. He is all-knowing, He is everywhere, and He wants you to know that He is on your side.

"Jonah and Cain both had a similar audacity. Cain thought he could lie to God when he knows everything, and Jonah thought he could flee to the ends of the Earth and escape the reach of God. God's justice found both of them out anyway." - one user observed

Because of @_OreaBandit's tweet, a lot of X users also tweet their favorite Old Testament story, some with memes, and some with hilarious anecdotes—now, THIS is INTRIGUING!

In the Old Testament God knows EVERYTHING. So it's just a matter of formality to answer Him truthfully.

"Like God ain’t have a bird’s eye view of it all. The nerve." - one user said
"Acting like he didn't think Lawrd have an Aerial view of the incident I-" - another one replied

Take a look at these X users who had fun reading the Bible.

"Probably one of my favorite moments is in the book of Job when after he talked to him he basically did a "And where do you think YOU'RE going?" To the three dudes accusing him of sinning." - another user added

After the Cain and Abel gate, a lot of users, in case they see God will ask how He felt when Cain answered Him curtly.

"One day I'll ask God, how did he feel after getting that answer. And i know after this is why God assigned guardian angel for every human being." - one user remarked

All in all, it's fun and refreshing to understand the Bible stories (both Old Testament and New Testament) especially when you're an adult because it makes you clear up anything that's bugging your mind. So, happy reading, folks!
