Marvel just gave us a new glimpse of the evilest and powerful villain, Sentry in Thunderbolts*, but let's be honest - did we see anything? In the new clip, this unstoppable villain is lurking in menacing silhouette (probably in his Void version), having fans squinting like detectives trying to enlarge a blurry image.

Marvel has posted the new teaser of the Thunderbolts* where we can get a quick glimpse of Sentry! Valentina Allegra de Fontaine hyped Sentry up as "Earth's mightiest hero," but by the look of the footage, he's more on the path of "Earth's biggest problem."

With a spine-tingling line about why a god should take orders from anybody, Sentry's not here to play nice - he's here to utterly wreck shop, and the Thunderbolts* could very well be in way too deep. As soon as the news came out, someone took to his X account and commented:

"Looks like a golden thor"

Fans continue to debate who the villain in Thunderbolts* is, but one thing is for sure - Sentry isn't just "a golden Thor," as one fan commented! He's Thor filtered through a horror movie prism. Sure, he's got the blonde flowing hair and divine glow, but instead of cracking jokes, he's breaking reality itself.

If the Thunderbolts* were hoping to sign up for an easy mission, they're in for a shock when they find they're dealing with a one-man extinction event. The internet has officially lost it over the evilest villain's horrifying glow-up, and the responses are as crazy as the man himself.

Some of the fans are panicking, some are joking, and a few are simply here to roast his barely seen look. Either way, you know he's one of the more iconic villains with the Majestic Powerhouse vibe or the Walking Apocalypse.

It's like the Thunderbolts are in a pickle, and the internet's having far, far too good of a time about it. Let's go in.

Netizens have reacted as Marvel drops new look at Sentry in ‘Thunderbolts*’

Some users are here to dissect Sentry's power level, and others are just here to roast his glow like he's an overcooked award statue. Some are trying to squint their eyes to look at the villain's barely visible new look.

Either way, the internet is having the time of its life, and the jokes are landing harder than Sentry himself:

"That's not much of a look," a user @Brandon10009985 hilariously commented.
"great "look"🤣,"another user @thec0med1an hilariously commented.
"I think I can see details in that silhouette," a netizen @jonmcbrine sarcastically expressed with a hilarious GIF:

Some users are breaking down each pixel of the silhouette, and others are only here to release the most deranged takes in existence. Whether or not they can spot the villain, one thing is certain - the comments section is blinking brighter than he is today:

"The look: 👤," a user @SyncereX8 hilariously commented.
"That's homelander," another user @supremo_web3 hilariously commented.
"I am impatient! He's no Sentry if there's no throwing doors into the sun," a netizen @Mahnoor_khan26 wrote.

Whether he's Earth's greatest hero or worst nightmare, one thing is clear- Sentry is no run-of-the-mill villain. Marvel's keeping his complete reveal on the down-low, but even in shadow form, he exudes absolute destruction, waiting to ensnare the world. With energy levels that can make even the strongest heroes question their life choices, the question isn't who can stop him - it's if anyone will even have a chance.

Thunderbolts* will be released nationwide on May 2, 2025.
