Logan Paul has a history of making audacious claims, but his most recent one has boxing fans all scratching their heads. The former YouTuber who is now a WWE star said in a recent interview that he would "f*cking kill" Gervonta Davis in a boxing battle.

Naturally, the internet did not take this lightly. Many were quick to criticize Logan for what they perceived to be a complete delusion, given that Davis was an unbeaten knockout artist and one of the most dangerous fighters in the lightweight division. The responses? It's hilarious.

When Logan Paul criticizes Gervonta Davis, the internet goes crazy

Logan Paul's remarks were made in the course of a friendly conversation, but as soon as he dropped the bomb, social media erupted. The video, where he confidently claims he’d dominate Davis, spread like wildfire, sparking a mix of amusement, disbelief, and outright roasting.

Now, let’s put things into perspective. Logan is around 6'2" and weighs approximately 225 pounds. Gervonta Davis? is 5'5" and fights at 135 pounds. On paper, the size difference is comical. But if weight alone decided fights, we’d see sumo wrestlers dominating boxing rings. Experience, skill, and fight IQ matter, and Davis has plenty of all three.

As soon as Logan’s words hit the internet, fans wasted no time in delivering some grade-A roasts. One user summed up the situation perfectly: “Bro playing with lava.” And honestly? That might be an understatement.

Another fan took a more logical approach but still had to acknowledge the absurdity, saying, “If he was a legitimate boxer with that size and weight difference, I would agree.” In other words, being bigger doesn’t automatically translate to being better in the ring.

The height difference also became a running joke, with one user pointing out, “Bro is 3 feet taller than Gervonta.” While that’s an exaggeration, the visual of Logan towering over Davis while still getting knocked out had fans cracking up.

Some didn’t even entertain the idea of a competitive fight, with one commenter stating, “Davis would destroy Logan lmao even with the size difference 🤦🏻‍♂️.” And considering Davis’ highlight reel of knockouts, that’s a fair assumption.

Then came the WWE jokes. Given Logan’s current career in scripted wrestling, one fan hilariously remarked, “Logan Paul is a little too comfortable saying this as a WWE superstar.” Maybe he forgot that in real boxing, there are no rehearsed spots or predetermined outcomes.

And of course, the weight gap had people shaking their heads, with one user saying, “Logan Paul is bout 225 talking bout a 135er sht*s insane.”* It’s like comparing a middle schooler to a linebacker it just doesn’t make sense.

Logan Paul has made a career out of stirring the pot, and this latest statement is no exception. Whether he genuinely believed he could take down Gervonta Davis or just wanted to create buzz, he certainly succeeded in getting the internet talking.

But if he ever does step into the ring with Davis? Let’s just say, playing with lava might be an understatement.
