In today’s episode of Twitter wars, or should we say X skirmishes, Rubi Rose ignited a hilarious debate by posting,

“Remember when ppl tried to say Kendrick over Drake lol wtf.”

Naturally, this post sent social media into a tailspin, with fans and casual bystanders adding their two cents. Kendrick Lamar vs. Drake has been an ongoing debate in hip-hop circles, but Rubi’s bold statement had people cracking up, especially with one fan responding,

"lmfao u so real."

It seems Rubi Rose wasn’t pulling any punches with her take, reminding everyone that Drake reigns supreme in her eyes. But, let’s face it—was she inviting friendly debate or a mini online roast session?

Rubi Rose stirs the pot with her Drake vs. Kendrick take, and fans have thoughts!

As expected, Rubi’s post caused a flurry of reactions on X. And in true internet fashion, users weren’t holding back. Some agreed with her stance, while others were quick to defend Kendrick Lamar. One fan hilariously shot back,

“Anyday kendrick is better than Drake 🤣,” with others chiming in, trying to keep the debate alive.

In the middle of this online battle, another tweet poked fun at the intensity of the debate, saying,

“it wasn’t a bible scripture,” throwing shade at the dramatics on display.

Fans clearly didn’t hold back their opinions, and some even questioned Rubi's taste, with one user commenting,

"Look good but she don’t got no taaaaaste! 🤦🏾‍♂️"

Drake may have his loyal fanbase, but Kendrick stans were not about to stay silent. One tweet jokingly warned Rubi about the backlash she might face:

“Kbots are coming for you hold on tight."

And in true social media fashion, someone else noted how quickly the conversation escalated:

"His 1 min of fame is over 😂back to reality."

Of course, no viral post is complete without the mention of ratios, and one user, mocking the post’s engagement, commented,

"Naah what is this ratio 😭😭."

Even with all the chaos, a few fans showed some love for Rubi’s bluntness with the tweet,

"Don’t let them silence u," applauding her for standing firm in the storm of opinions.

Rubi Rose, Hip-Hop’s unfiltered queen

Since she first entered the rap scene, Rubi Rose's music career has received a good deal of attention. She is well-known for her outspoken approach and striking social media presence, and she has never really held back when sharing her thoughts on relationships, music, or, reportedly, hip-hop royalty.

Rose first became well-known for being featured in Migos' "Bad and Boujee" music video. She then went on to pursue a career as a rapper, putting out songs like "Big Mouth" and "He in His Feelings." While her music continues to climb the charts, her social media presence often draws just as much attention (if not more).

What about her loyalty to Drake rather than Kendrick? Rose's admiration for Drake is well known, and fans note that she has already expressed her choice openly. The Drake vs. Kendrick beef has deep roots in the hip-hop world, stemming from perceived competition between the two artists. Kendrick, renowned for his poetic skill and socially aware messaging, has often been compared to Drake, who is well-known for his mass appeal and chart-topping hits. The two have subtly taken shots at each other over the years, fueling the fan debate that Rubi hilariously reignited.

While Rose's X post wasn’t exactly a deep analysis of the Drake-Kendrick rivalry, it was enough to get the internet buzzing—because what’s the internet without a little drama, right?
