Lamborghini just released… a baby stroller. The company famous for producing outrageously fast and pricey supercars is now assisting your toddler in rolling up to daycare in style—proudly, for the affordable sum of $5,165.
Nicknamed the Reef AL Arancio, the luxury stroller is the result of a collaboration with Silver Cross, a UK nursery brand.
Not surprisingly, the internet is losing its mind over this. People are making jokes that they can now actually afford a Lamborghini—just not the one they've always dreamed of.
Others are asking the real question: why?
Unless this thing has a V12 motor and drops your baby off to preschool at light speed, it's kinda tough to justify spending five thousand on a stroller.
A user (@VCVCOMEDY) hilariously mentioned:
"getting my first lambo soon."
While we all fantasize about pulling up in a Lamborghini, it turns out the cheapest way to have one is… to push it.
A user (@IsaacA08) probably heaved a deep sigh as they wrote:
"That stroller costs more than my car."
Since the stroller is being dropped, a user (@Theo_Drama) reacted with a pun:
"Dropping it is not a good idea, especially if there is a baby still inside."
Alright, Joker final boss, we see what you did there.
A user (@Irunnia_) joked:
"I won't be buying. They don't have it in pink."
Clearly, the only thing preventing you from spending a relaxed $5,165 on a stroller is the incorrect color.
A user (@ohcanada25) went on to say:
"No way the baby can afford a $5000 stroller. Must be daddy money."
This kid might just have the net worth to buy one on their own.
A user (@Zoyaa_Khani) quipped:
"Lamborghini really out here making strollers now? Talk about high-end parenting. 😂"
A user (@zeaftw), probably sarcastically, noted:
"Finally some new, much needed stroller innovation."
For far too long, the stroller market has been in a rut. Where was the upscale, state-of-the-art technology for infants?
Lamborghini and Silver Cross made a stroller
This stroller is the result of two years of design sessions, showroom excursions, and extensive immersion in Lamborghini’s signature style.
The end product looks like it came straight out of a hypercar brochure, complete with an auto-style brake pedal, hand-finished handlebars, and luxe suede with Italian leather trim.
It’s built for any terrain, featuring full suspension wheels and that aggressive black-and-orange Lamborghini color scheme.
This product features a carrycot, pushchair seat, footmuff, universal car seat adaptors, sun sail, mosquito net, and not one, but two rain covers. Thus, the price is justified. You get two rain covers.
The carrycot itself boasts a high-gloss polycarbonate shell with built-in mesh for top-class ventilation and visibility.
Meanwhile, the pushchair seat is draped in top-of-the-range suede, Italian leather trimmings, an ergonomic headrest, and a multi-peak faceted canopy for extra luxury.
And here’s the cherry on top: Only 500 of these Lamborghini buggies exist worldwide, each equipped with a plush "1 di 500" badge.
You can't just grab one off a shelf at the baby store either—it’s only available online and at Harrods in the UK.
Lamborghini kids collection
Apart from the bougie strollers, the brand has also ventured into the clothing line for kids. Lamborghini partnered with Danish children's wear specialist, KABOOKI, in 2020, to materialize this venture.
They went on to drop some lines with fun twists on prints and logos, including glow-in-the-dark designs.
You can grab them in official Lamborghini stores and at some select retailers.
