Kendrick Lamar began his Grand National Tour (GNX) on April 19. He performed his 2025 single, EUHPORIA, on the tour, and was joined by SZA as co-headliner at the event, which was sold out with nearly 50,000 spectators in the audience.
Lamar began the show sitting in a 1980s Buick GNX on stage. The headlights of the car came on, illuminating the dark stage. He exited the car and began playing Wacced Out Murals. He then played Squabble Up, followed by the hit songs, King Kunta and Element.
Midway through his solo performance, Kendrick Lamar played EUHPORIA, his diss track aimed at Drake. The song also happens to be one of the most-played numbers from Kendrick's GNX album.
Meanwhile, folks on the internet can't get enough of how Kendrick Lamar appears to be fixated on Drake. Some are joking that he made his entire career around a single diss song.
While those remarks could largely be from Drake supporters, many others concur that Lamar is prolonging the beef too long — and they're sort of over it.
In short, it's not hitting the same way anymore. We understand you had a beef with him and that you kind of roasted him, but now... move on.
Kendrick Lamar’s live Euphoria performance on the GNX Tour sends social media into a frenzy
Fans have gone into full roast mode, and Kendrick Lamar is the prime target. People on the internet are saying he's based his entire career on diss tracks, and since he doesn't have anything new to give, he's most likely going to take this beef with Drake to the grave.
X user @2TurntTeoo stated:
"This is the only way he stays relevant 🤦🏽♂️"
Another user, @wepeopleculture, added:
"Guy has nothing he’s gonna keep riding this beef to the grave."
This is how users are imagining the people in the crowd:
"The crowd after he performs NLU and euphoria."
Most of these comments are seemingly from Drake fans, stating they're all about his new song Nokia, and not bothered about Kendrick Lamar's diss anymore. Some are even joking that they can't hear the crowd cheering, as if the crowd isn't pumped.
Despite the arena being fully sold out, they're still saying it didn't feel like a big moment. Well, isn't that the peak Drake fan thing to say anyway?
A user, @YungQuavious, mentioned:
"This dude made his whole career about Drake bruh."
User @KaiOnSerum went on to say:
"We bumping NOKIA bro we don’t care about the diss tracks anymore that’s old news."
A user, @LZ_Reeves, noted:
"That’s that’s calmest crowd I’ve ever seen at a hiphop concert."
A fan noted that Kendrick Lamar has based his entire persona on Drake in recent times. They opined that this was Kendrick's moment to shine without the feud and offer something new — something unconnected with the beef.
Rather than provide more intimate or street tracks, he has opted to stick with another diss. To some, it seemed like an opportunity missed.
A user @okwhattttttt opined:
"Mannnn he got the spotlight on him and had a chance to pop his own shit but instead he has essentially made his entire legacy/footprint all about drake."
Another user, @J_ROOST, declared:
"Milking tf outta this….. but Euphoria is my favorite diss out the bunch 🤦🏾♂️🤦🏾♂️"
X user @TheGuyIC asked:
"Is there a crowd? I can’t hear anyone."
Co-headliner SZA impressed the audience with stunning performances of Love Galore and Broken Clocks. The two artists began their segment with a GNX collaboration.
