Kanye West has played I do what I want card once more as he shut down an entire street in West Hollywood so his wife, Bianca Censori, could strike poses for a photoshoot. The traffic stopped, horns honked, and chaos ensued—all because Ye wanted to turn a busy thoroughfare into his personal runway.
The world eagerly awaited Kanye West to curate a spontaneous show of street fashion on the streets. Thank you for your service, sir.
The event has caused fury and confusion. While one portion of the internet condemned Ye, others made fun.
One X (formerly Twitter) user asked:
"Kanye did what ???"
Another added:
"Me pulling around the security cause I gotta be at work in 5 mins"
A user stated:
"Cameraman: “ye doing ye shiii”."
A user went on to say:
"Bro just doing literally whatever he wants 😭"
A user quipped:
"This lawsuit is gonna be crazy 🤣🤣🤣"
A user mentioned:
"I guess traffic rules don't apply when you're famous. Just wait till I try this with my morning coffee run."
A user shared a meme to depict the whole situation.
A comment read:
"Bro uses his free will to his advantage 😭 🙏🏻"
Kanye West turned a street into a runway
Kanye West took it upon himself to stop traffic on a busy street. He blocked the flow of real life so Bianca could model in peace, because, in Kanye’s world, his wife’s photoshoot takes precedence over the existence of other human beings trying to go about their day.
And, of course, it wasn’t just a casual photoshoot either as Kanye was actively directing the action and snapping photos.
The rapper was on his iPhone filming Bianca as she posed in a white pullover and silver leggings.
“Like you was drinkin’,” Kanye advised Bianca while guiding her into position.
While Kanye was totally in his element, the poor drivers, whose lives had just been interrupted for this impromptu runway show, were less than thrilled.
As car horns blared in unison, Bianca was living her best life, unaffected by the chaos around her, gracefully strutting like the world was her catwalk.
Once the shoot was wrapped, the couple strolled over to a nearby restaurant, as one does when they have just stopped an entire street for personal flair.
The Grammys and Kanye West
Just a few days prior, the couple made waves at the Grammys as Bianca walked the carpet in an outfit that had the internet double-check everything.
Soon, Kanye, of course, leaped into action, taking to social media to defend his wife from those who dared question her outfit choice.
He declared that Bianca had officially become “the most Googled person on the planet.”
What’s more, the internet started floating the idea that this entire Grammy moment was a PR stunt to drum up attention for his Yeezy brand.
Legal drama or just another Kanye move?
So, the public reaction to Bianca’s Grammy look was intense, and the West Hollywood photoshoot caused quite a stir too.
According to an LA-based lawyer who spoke to Page Six, there is no serious legal fallout coming to Kanye and Bianca’s way, especially because the controversy wasn’t explicit enough to result in complaints or any charges of indecent exposure.
That means, despite the uproar, it looks like they are in the clear.
Kanye’s paparazzi moment
Let’s not forget that even when Kanye and Bianca are not shutting down streets or making Grammy statements, they are still fully aware that the paparazzi are always ready to pounce.
On February 4, Kanye and Bianca rolled up to a recording studio in LA, ready to create something else, when the paparazzi caught up with them, as reported by TMZ. Kanye reportedly instructed the paparazzi:
“Ask me how it was to beat the Grammys.”
After the question was asked, Kanye grinned and declared:
“We beat the Grammys.”
