George Cooper, the beloved late father of Sheldon in the Young Sheldon series, is making a comeback in the sequel of the show Georgie and Mandy's First Marriage.

While it remains unclear just how he will be written into the show, seeing as that he was killed off at the end of Young Sheldon, fans are reacting with a mix of memes, pointed remarks, and jests anyway.

Scores online could not help but point out that he died at the end of Young Sheldon for a reason, with some even noting that there was no point in subjecting fans to all that pain of watching him die if he was going to come back anyway, even if he might not be a series regular.

"So they’re just gonna keep going back in time," someone asked, sarcastically.
"Can’t wait for Meemaw: Origins and Sheldon & Amy: The Retirement Years next," another hilariously quipped.
"Did he fake his death just to get away from Sheldon???" one user humorously probed.
"Didn’t know they were bringing up georgies necromancy skills this early tbh," another sarcastic user chimed in.
