The Cenation Leader's promo from WWE Raw left all of us shell-shocked as he traded Hustle, Loyalty, and Respect for betrayal. Cena seems to revel in giving the audience a reality check and is running with it!
After years of being the golden boy of wrestling, Cena decided to embrace his inner villain and dump the WWE Universe like a clingy ex. The crowd was on its toes throughout the segment, ready to boo the 16-time world champion into oblivion. With his shocking betrayal, John Cena has already etched his name into the greats of the WWE, if he wasn't one already.

John Cena's social media pages usually seem like a caricature of absurdity where he posts cryptic messages for the audience to interpret by themselves It's like a surreal art gallery curated by a toddler with a smartphone. So when Cena went philosophical on the fans and posted a message on X, fans, some of whom are still in Team Cena, came out to defend him as if their lives depended on it:
"Sir, you psychologically annihilated that live crowd. I've never seen anything like it. They went from booing to agreeing with you, all within the space of 3 minutes. You quite literally MKULTRA'd them." ranted one fan (via X / @LennyB1982)
"Fans are acting like they didn’t spend a decade begging for it. Self-reflection is a tough finisher to kick out of.", said another fan (@WrestleTubePC), nodding along with The Cenation Leader's actions.
Remember the first words he uttered in front of the hostile Belgium crowd? He put the exact quotes on X and netizens ate it up. This led to demands from the fans that he start every promo with quotes from his X account:

John Cena's latest segment on Raw was so passionate that it left the entire arena shouting "Cena sucks!" in three different languages. It was a cultural exchange for the ages.
