MrBeast isn’t printing money in his basement after all. The internet is absolutely gobsmacked after a leaked screenshot allegedly spilled the tea on Jimmy Donaldson’s YouTube earnings.
According to a post by @DramaAlert on February 17, 2025, the mastermind behind extravagant giveaways and real-life game shows rakes in around $4.23 million per month from his main channel.
A man who casually gives away islands like they are Happy Meal toys was expected to be rolling around in gold coins like Scrooge McDuck.
Instead, when they saw the figures, the response was that’s it?
Comment sections immediately turned into math clubs, with users running amateur financial audits and wondering how the guy was making what some thought was a “modest” sum.
As one X user put it:
"It can’t be that low surely"
A user with trust issues stated:
"It’s photoshopped."
One sage advised:
"MrBeast complaining about losing money on Beast Games like bro just drop another youtube video you'll be fine"
Meanwhile, for some reason, this user thinks:
"Nearly 30 million a year and that’s just off youtube, he needs to buy me a hellcat 😭🙏"
A user joked:
"And he can’t lend me a dollar"
One user casually dropped a truth bomb:
"Big news for the unemployed"
2.6 billion views, but only $4 million?
MrBeast, sitting atop his 363-million-subscriber throne, has long been the internet’s golden boy of viral philanthropy.
The leaked analytics showed his channel pulled in an absurd 2.688 billion views and over 162 million watch hours in just 28 days.
And yet, the numbers didn’t scream billionaire mogul, leaving fans questioning everything they thought they knew about YouTube riches.
Is $4.23 million a month all MrBeast makes?

Now, before anyone starts passing around a GoFundMe for MrBeast, let’s be real: $4.23 million per month is just the YouTube AdSense money.
And anyone even remotely aware of how internet empires work knows that’s just the tip of the iceberg.
Feastables chocolate? Prime Hydration collabs? Merch sales? These things are likely bringing in way more than what gets funneled through his YouTube channel alone.
On the other hand, $4.23 million isn’t bad, but anyone with an ounce of fame is expected to have a private jet and 17 different mansions.
The big question: Is it real?
Some industry insiders have called the screenshot suspiciously vague, hinting it might not tell the whole story.
One of MrBeast’s own team members—who also co-founded ViewStats, a YouTube metrics platform—acknowledged that the numbers were “close enough” but not entirely accurate, as per Dexerto.
This could very well be a case of someone playing the long game to get us all worked up. Maybe it’s a marketing stunt, or maybe MrBeast’s team is just that good at keeping us on our toes.
