Celebrities sure keep us entertained with their talents, always managing to ensure there’s never a dull moment when we’re consuming what they put out. Some even take on the extra task of being motivational speakers, encouraging people to believe they too can reach the same heights if they put in the work and make the right choices.
Although Pitbull successfully spits words fast, motivational speaking does not seem to be his cup of tea. And in this case, it seems that the fans noticed it too, leading to an awkward moment.
Pitbull recently took to X (formerly Twitter) to give his followers a dose of motivation. The 44-year-old tweeted,
“The word impossible says I’M POSSIBLE.”
The tweet left the internet highly amused, as it seemingly came out of nowhere, was completely out of context, and consisted of just one line. It did not fail to garner the attention of his fans and ended with most sharing their take on it.
Hilarious internet reactions to Pitbull's motivational post
Netizens found themselves cracking up at Pitbull’s tweet and wasted no time flooding his comments section with hilarious reactions.
"It also says impossible bro tf 🤣," a user pointed.
The word impossible might say I’m possible according to Pitbull, but to be fair, it does say impossible first before anything else, as this user hilariously points out.
"cute in theory, but my rent says otherwise," joked another.
It seems all that motivation didn’t work on this user, who’s paying a lot of rent for their house. Maybe they tried telling the landlord that it isn’t impossible to lower the rent if they say "I’m possible," but they probably declined pretty quickly.
Busted! (via @Ericalt1/X)
Uh-oh, this user just busted Pitbull on the originality. Turns out the line was already said on the hit Apple TV show Ted Lasso first. Looks like someone might have some explaining to do!
"Sorry Mr. Bull, but that would be "i'mpossible" a user wrote.
As this user suggests, if we go by the rules of language and actually break the word down, then I’m possible would combine to form I’mpossible, not impossible. So this user clearly isn’t buying it.
"It also says “Mobile P*ss. Do with that information what you will," commented another.
This user is following the rapper's example and coming up with different words one can make out of the word "impossible." Who would have thought a simple tweet could turn into a verbal ability test so fast?
Pitbull’s motivational tweet was surely meant with good intentions, but it unintentionally gave rise to some hilarious trolling by the internet—which is still a win for the rapper, since he ended up giving the internet some comedy gold.
