Recently, Instagram released a new feature that allows users to create an invite-only feed for Instagram Reels that only their invited friends can access.

Right after Instagram released this new feature, Instagram users took to social media channels to troll Instagram authority’s sensibility. Most users found this new blend feature useless, and they reacted to it with hilarious memes and comments.

Netizens highlighted that Instagram has been launching pointless features lately, and the new blend feature is nothing but an addition to that list. The question prevails: "Who on earth is enjoying this useless feature?"

Remember when Instagram was just about photos? Users like @MsAnjaliB felt that Instagram wasn’t serving its core purpose at all by launching irrelevant features that were of no use to users!

"Instagram was supposed to be only about photos. Now it’s a chore."

Meta is literally going to create a record of launching weird updates that nobody is seeking! So many pointless updates across all the platforms, one after another! @TheBashBryan commented.

"Meta be having the most useless and random updates."

Comments revealed that no Instagram user will be interested in exploring the new update Instagram has announced! It’s going to add nothing to one’s user experience. @NextlvlCash couldn't care enough.

" Nah fam, we need an 'I don't care' option."

For a change, finally a user who is optimistic about the update. @HaytonsGB commented.

"Blend sounds like a vibe, ngl. Keeping my group feed tidy."

@PixelSavages revealed that they quit Instagram as it is announcing new updates that are not catering to the core intent of why users use it, and it seems like the platform is replicating TikTok’s features!

"Pointless. I left IG when it became all about trying to be TikTok."

It would’ve been way better if Instagram let us know who checks out our Instagram profiles and activities instead of introducing new features! @LILROMANXDRAPS

"They’re doing everything but telling us who follows us"

@tayrianapop wanted the notes feature to be back. After all, it allowed you to share what's on your mind related to a post or reel without having to share it to your story.

"bring back notes pleek"

@himxed is confused about what the new update has in store, yet nodding in unison.

"I am nodding my head like I understand.."

The recent features introduced by Instagram have left users utterly disappointed and confused at the same time! Let’s hope that Meta assesses what users truly want and launches new features accordingly!
