Season 3 of Euphoria is actually happening, and HBO is brewing something new. This season is not all about glitter tears and questionable life decisions. The new season of Euphoria will introduce new faces to the narrative, such as Spanish singer Rosalia.

The show will have the characters graduating from high school and leaping forward in time throughout the eight-episode season.

Rosalia joins Euphoria

Grammy Award-winning singer Rosalia indicated that she appreciated being part of Euphoria. She indicated her enthusiasm on social media about making her Euphoria debut.

Rosalia remarked:

"If there's anything that excites me as much as creating a good melody or writing a great lyric it's becoming a better performer every day."

"'Euphoria' has been my favorite series over the last few years and I couldn't be happier and more grateful to be acting alongside all of these incredibly talented people that I admire so much and contributing my "granito de arena" to bring Sam's vision to reality to make magic. New promotional images depict the cast, including Rosalia, on the set. She sports a green blouse and a bedazzled neck brace.

As per the Los Angeles Times, the image of Rosalia as herself in costume sporting a bedazzled neck brace was featured in the streamer's Instagram story.

This marks the Grammy Award winner's first major acting role.

Cast of Euphoria

Euphoria's official handle posted the new cast, which includes Rosalia, Marshawn Lynch, Kadeem Hardison, Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje, Toby Wallace, Priscilla Delgado, James Landry Hébert, and Anna Van Patten.

The returning cast is Zendaya, Hunter Schafer, Eric Dane, Jacob Elordi, Sydney Sweeney, Alexa Demie, and Maude Apatow.

Martha Kelly and Chloe Cherry are also being upgraded to series regulars.

Colman Domingo will be returning as a guest star as well.

Cast members who won't be returning are Nika King, Algee Smith, Dominic Fike, Javon "Wanna" Walton, Barbie Ferreira, and Austin Abrams.

Angus Cloud, who played Fezco, died in July 2023.

Marshawn Lynch and Kadeem Hardison in Euphoria

Marshawn Lynch is a retired Seattle Seahawks running back who started acting some ten years ago. Lynch has made appearances in the HBO series Westworld and new movies Bottoms and Love Hurts.

Lynch was quoted as saying by Hola!:

"Excited to bring something new to the table and collaborate with such a talented crew."

He added was further quoted as saying by the Los Angeles Times:

"I'm hella juiced about the show and getting a chance to work with the people in front and behind the camera. At the end of the day, I'm just thankful for the opportunity".

Kadeem Hardison will work with his ex-on-screen daughter, Zendaya, from Disney Channel's K.C. Undercover.

Hardison was quoted saying by the Los Angeles Times:

"I was over the moon when I heard the news that I booked it. It’s amazing to be back on set with Z. She and I formed a tight friendship while shooting K.C. Undercover and we’ve stayed close, so this is truly special."
