A shower routine is precious to women. Nothing feels better than taking a warm shower followed by a step-by-step skincare process. Besides the hygiene aspect, it often serves as a stress buster for most women. But, how many shower products are enough for a shower session? Is there a number or more the merrier?
A TikTok influencer recently encountered trolls for posting her overwhelming shower routine online.
Recently, a TikToker with the username, selfcarewithtatiana posted a video where she described her shower routine with her favorite products. The video revealed several Vanilla range toiletries like body scrub, body glaze, body oil, body mist and perfume.
What made the video stand out was the intoxicating choice of products and her enormous collection, no less than a retail store. Netizens mocked the video and many called her out for overconsumption.
Fans react hilariously as the TikTok user shares her unconventional shower routine
How many are expired? (via gnikayam/X)
There is no way all products in the collection of hundreds are usable. There have to be several expired ones hiding in there, right? Hunting such products must take up an entire crew unless she is okay with not filtering those out.
All I see is straight up chemicals (via missymammy001/X)
Well, no matter how they market it, hygiene products are still chemicals. Flexing hundreds of flavored chemicals stacked on shelves is wild. So, let's not be fooled by the cosmetics industry. Using more products on the skin can do more damage than you can speculate.
This is a lot (via earthtosirena/X)
There's no denying that the collection is way too enormous for an individual. You might be a passionate shower freak, yet cannot use all those on the shelf before they expire. But most importantly, what even is the point of the collection? Again, most hobbies and collections are bizarre so can't really blame her.
Let girls have hobbies omg (via hottynonymous/X)
Many have argued that the hate on the video is unnecessary as she is another person sharing her daily routine with fans. She's just a girl! So do we really need to get that serious over a video and let her share her interests?
Plot twist (via paymusclemommy/ X)
Here's an unpopular take, that's too many vanilla products for one shower. Bet she reeks enough vanilla to cause nausea in a closed room. Imagine sitting in the same room as someone drenched in vanilla essence!
Vanilla extract next (via CLEvsWRLD/X)
Her love for the vanilla range is astounding. X-users have amusingly expressed how they won't be surprised if she grabs vanilla extract next! Who even needs a plethora of products when one ingredient in bathwater can do the job?
Does this represent our civilization (_RachelTerry_/X)
It's the year 3033 and anthropologists found this video amid the recorded events of our times! The video describing a shower routine being displayed in a museum could be embarrassing!
The internet once again, proved that the Internet is a critical place. You might use social media to document your hobbies and interests, but be ready to fight the hate! Who knew a shower routine could invite trolls?
