Modern-day society is so different from what it once was that now, every time we see an animal just out and about in the wild, grazing and doing its thing, it's jarring for us. I mean, how common is it to see a horse just lazing around and munching on grass?

In other parts of the world, like India, for example, cows roam the streets like they belong there, and we humans are the ones that get in their way. In other parts of Asia, street dogs are as common to see in public as a fly. The point is, even after all these years of humans and animals cohabitating, sometimes, we can forget just how much more they belong to be here than us.
