The Karate Kid movies from both 1984 and the 2010 remake were a big part of childhood for many who grew up back then. The franchise even gave rise to the hit Netflix spin-off series Cobra Kai, which has been hugely successful. However, fans have long been hoping for another movie installment with an all-new protagonist, and luckily for them, they received even more than they could have wished for.

Recently, at CinemaCon 2025, the second trailer for Karate Kid: Legends was unveiled. Set for a May 30, 2025 release, the film will feature Jackie Chan and Ralph Macchio reprising their iconic roles from previous films, this time as senseis to the new protagonist, played by Ben Wang. The trailer has further fueled excitement among fans, as they will get to see both the beloved Karate Kid universes merged into one.

Now that two legends from the original Karate Kid and the remake are coming together in Karate Kid: Legends, fans seem more eager than ever to grab their seats in theaters.

"Why is every, Villain now a days called, Connor? We're not so bad. 😅," a user wrote.

Poor guy - his name is Conor, and he can't help but notice that every villain these days seems to be named Conor. With Karate Kid: Legends, featuring a main antagonist by the same name, he wants the world to know that not all Connors are bad!

A new Karate Kid movie sure sounds exciting, but what about a new Rush Hour film? Fans are eager for Jackie Chan to return with another installment of the beloved action-comedy franchise!

With just days to go, audiences are gearing up to see some of their favorite characters return to the big screen. Karate Kid: Legends will be released worldwide on May 30, 2025.
