This time, AI is out here doing the most - trying to be Rihanna. When an Instagram post used an AI-generated version of her voice saying things that she actually didn't say, the internet went wild. And when Rihanna caught wind of it? Well, let's just say her reaction made it very clear that AI might be bold, but it ain't Fenty-approved.

An Instagram reel was going the rounds, doing what seemed to be Rihanna - but it didn't. Rather, it had been AI that attempted to chime in her best Bad Gal impression. Let's just say it flopped hard. With one sniff on Rihanna's corner, she managed a response too.

Knowing how quick-witted Rihanna is likely, it'll be equal amounts of hilarious yet done with that particular nonsense. Fooling Riri? Big fat "nope." Rihanna commented on the same reel's comment box:

"Who tf is this talking??!"

And then, just like that, the AI knew it had messed up. Somewhere in the depths of the algorithm, a server probably started sweating.

Meanwhile, its AI-generated voice floated in cyberspace, questioning all its life choices. If it had a conscience, it'd be deleting itself out of sheer embarrassment. The moral of the story here? One can deepfake so much, but one cannot out-Rihanna "Rihanna." As soon as the news broke out, social media was flooded with netizens mixed reactions.

Someone (@WatersChie) on X hilariously commented:

"haha, her AI agent about to release her own songs too,."

The internet, of course, didn't waste any time turning that into some full-on spectacle. Within minutes, X was in shambles, memes were flying, and people were breaking down Rihanna's reaction like a university case study. Some were convinced AI officially took things too far.

Let me walk you through how netizens have reacted regarding this news!

Netizens have reacted as Rihanna shares AI-generated audio of her voice

Someone (@nirajmalhotra) commented:

"Wow, AI could be very dangerous. Rihanna's iconic 'Who tf is this?' is all of us when AI nails her voice"

Another one (@erenfromtargets) commented:

"next they gonna drop and AI album cause she talking too long"

A netizen (@Iamshoaibzahid) expressed:

"Rihanna’s not having it with the AI clones! Can’t blame her—these deepfakes are getting too real. Where do we draw the line with AI in music?"

A folk (@Aether_Rav3) commented:

"AI Rihanna will drop music sooner than Rihanna"

A user (@lilyluna12345) commented:

"kinda creepy but also hilarious!"

Another one (@MarkFoxx13) wrote:

"Ngl, this Riri clone is very convincing. If I hadn't known it was artificial, I would've thought it was her."

At the height of the AI voice scandal, the internet did what it does best - that was to make a joke out of everything. Fans began to demand an AI album as Rihanna clearly wasn't in a rush for anything. Others joked that the AI was gonna get sued so hard that it would be buffering forever.

Meanwhile, the real Rihanna was probably sipping on a drink somewhere, unbothered and moving on. But one thing was sure - AI just learned the hard way that impersonating the Bad Gal comes with consequences, mainly a whole lot of internet dragging.
