Aside from producing, writing, and performing his music, our fave artist, The Weeknd is also a filmmaker! Memes erupt with The Weeknd's poster reveal
Because The Weeknd's first poster for his movie has been revealed, fans poked fun at The Weeknd, saying that he knew his album was flopping, so he had to do something to make his fans and the casuals intrigued (via X/@crueellsummerr):
"He saw the album tanking, he knew he had to do something quickly."
Others trolled the movie poster, saying that it looks exactly like the poster of the 90s slasher flick, I Know What You Did Last Summer (via X/@COWBOYREQUIEM):
Fans also joked that the Hurry Up Tomorrow film should be just as cool as the movie poster, because if not, The Weeknd's FINISHED.

Hurry Up Tomorrow: The Gist
The musical-psychological-thriller film is "somewhat" autobiographical—based on The Weeknd's experience with the limelight, and follows a fictional version of himself, who is on the verge of a mental breakdown. With the help of a stranger who pulls him out of his misery, they embark on an existential odyssey, questioning life, the limelight, and everything in between.
Whether you like it or not, Hurry Up Tomorrow may be The Weeknd's magnum opus and we can't wait to catch it in cinemas on May 16, 2025.
Here's a tip—before you watch the film, make sure to listen to the album of the same name as the two are connected to one another!
