Boston Dynamics confirms that the robot dog is patrolled for Trump's security
Earlier this year in July, Trump survived an assassination attempt in Pennsylvania. Considering the potential threats, the now-president-elect has beefed up his security including a robot dog, and armed personnel.
As confirmed by Boston Dynamics, the robot dog is currently with the United States Secret Service. A spokesperson told the press,
“Safeguarding the President-elect is a top priority."
They added,
“While we cannot get into the specific capabilities, the robotic dogs are equipped with surveillance technology, and an array of advanced sensors that support our protective operations.”
After securing the second term as the President of the United States, Donald Trump has taken measures to increase his security. Apart from the robotic dog, armed coastguard personnel were also seen outside his residence. Boston Dynamics has also confirmed that the robot will be there for the president-elect's protection.
