YouTube's personal alarm clock, iShowSpeed, is currently in China, and with all the fun he is having, there might be a possibility of him staying there forever. He has painted the town red and green and changed the country's lucky number to 7. Everywhere he has been, the Chinese people have been shocked, or Speed himself has been left speechless by the wonders he has seen in China.
If you are an iShowSpeed fan, then you must remember one of his videos when he reacted to the song Nae Nae N**** by Da Zang-wei. The reaction was a scream fest where Speed went off on the internet for the song's lyrics. He went through the seven stages of grief in 30 seconds, and it looked like if he ever met the makers of the song, they would get their eardrums blown off by his screaming rant over the song's lyrics.
But, surprisingly, the exact opposite happened. China has been so fun that he has forgotten he used to be mad at stuff. He recently met with the great Da Zang-wei, the creator of Nae Nae N****, or its original name, Sunshine, Rainbow, White Pony.
iShowSpeed was seen vibing with Zang-wei, and it was absolute bedlam. Speed occasionally looked at Zang-wei as if he were possessed. All the while, Zang-wei looked like he was just happy to be there. Their performance together was iconic. Zang-wei brought the zen, while Speed brought the heat.
Fan reactions to iShowSpeed singing Nae Nae N**** with Da Zang-wei
The iShowSpeed x Zang-wei cultural crossover was something no one asked for, but everyone is glad that it happened. It would be international diplomacy if Gen Z were in charge. Everything was hunky-dory, and people gobbled it up like candy. Fans were happy to see Speed unite with the maker of a song that almost ruptured his brain.
And while it was not the reaction people expected, they still vibed along with him. Here are some of the funny reactions that the video garnered:
User @theganfam was as shocked to see this as everyone else,
"He sang whatttt"
It seems like user @theganfam did eventually come around,
"This guy has become a Chinese sensation"
User @joeythademon1 had another funny comment to add to the mix,
"This is some self humiliation"
User @realaecrypto isn't wrong to write this,
"This whole crossover feelin' like a side quest from a game that shouldn't exist but somehow 100% worth it. Speed different for real.
Among all the vaccine myths, user @Doge_Codes has the most believable one,
"The covid vax made speed into a Chinese man"
User @waigerHQ found a unique way of saying that Speed is a successful content creator.
"Bro went from barking to stream to global icon status"
iShowSpeed is creating memories and memes all over China. Let's wait and see what's in store next.
