In a follow-up tweet, he doubled down on his stance:

"This is not satire. You can get a Rolex for 4 grand. Having a nice watch communicates status to women and business relationships. And if you buy it right it will hold its value if not appreciate."

Steven Francis doubles down on his contentious tweets, says buying a Rolex is why he is married today

In a slew of follow-up tweets following his first one, Steven Francis doubled down on his stance, noting that his wife only fell for him after she saw his "Rolex gmt master II." Check out the tweet below:

Noting that his "leveraged Rolex was clearly the ONLY reason she chose" him, he also asserted that "a girl being attracted to you because you’re ambitious or have resources" is not a bad thing, noting that it's the only way you can afford to "send kids to good schools," "put high-quality food on the table," "Create a safe home in a safe neighborhood," and "Give back to the community."

While he did state that "money is not everything," he asserted that "being able to provide for your family is a crucial point of a successful relationship." In yet another tweet, he revealed that "ever since I bought my rolex with debt my productivity 20x'd," before adding that "time is money." In another contentious tweet, he stated:

"Some people dream of generational wealth but not me. My goal is generational debt. One Rolex at a time."

Per his LinkedIn, Steven Francis has been working in his current post since August 2018. Prior to that, he worked as the division president for Richmond American Homes, and even before that, he held the same position at Fielding Homes, LLC.
