Logan Paul faced you can't sit with us treatment, but not from teenage mean girls–from the government of Egypt. The wrestler was banned from documenting at the Pyramids of Giza while his friend MrBeast was enjoying a history buff dream.
Meanwhile, the internet had a wild time. Serving a hot roast, a user stated:
"Good move from them"
We don’t know what the personal beef is, but that was a well-seasoned roast. A user pointed out:
"I mean after the Japanese forest, I don't blame them."
What happened in Japan, stays in Japan. Another user chimed in:
"The happiness index in Egypt just gained 5 points 😂"
As per this user, Logan Paul is unknowingly contributing to national well-being. A user commented:
"They aren’t taking any chances lol"
Pyramids have stood for 4,500 years, no way they’re risking that now. One sus user stated:
"Logan is always claiming something and then provides 0 proof to back it up😂"
The internet seems to have picked up on the pattern. A user quipped:
"Logan Paul is probably banned from many more countries that we don’t know about 🤣"
Some are now speculating that Egypt is just the tip of the iceberg.
Logan Paul was denied access to film in Egypt
Paul spilled the tea in his vlog on February 19, 2025, where he explained that he had been looking forward to collaborating with YouTube philanthropist and challenge king MrBeast (Jimmy Donaldson) on a video venturing out to the pyramids.
Paul averred:
“MrBeast just uploaded a new video exploring the pyramids or something, and I love the pyramids, so I was like, ‘Jimmy, can I come?’ And he’s like, ‘For sure, dude,'”
A week later, MrBeast retaliated with news stating:
“Dude, unfortunately, the Egyptian government said that you can’t come, otherwise we can’t come.
Paul added:
“I know I piss people off, but the Egyptian government? I’ve never even been to Egypt! Why can’t I come to the pyramids, Jimmy? And he said, ‘I don’t know, the government specifically said you are the only person who cannot come on this trip.'”
Why the ban? That's the million-dollar question.
There isn't an official statement, but the internet has its speculations. Some have pointed to Paul's infamous Japan trip as the reason. Others speculated that Egyptian officials just weren't feeling the vibe about Logan Paul possibly converting the Great Pyramid into a WWE ring.
Paul had his outlandish hypothesis:
“I was going to figure out how they were made.”
The actual motive for which the Egyptian government has banned him is to keep the ancient world's secrets safe from a guy who has a $1 million Pokémon card.
What were Paul and MrBeast going to shoot?
The master plan of the duo was to plunge deep—literally—into the Pyramids of Giza's secrets.
MrBeast was creating a video where he lived for 100 hours in the pyramids, wandering through hidden chambers, secret tunnels, and whatever Indiana Jones-like finds he could dig up.
The objective was to reveal bits of history never before witnessed. Paul's grand pyramid quest was over, though, before it ever got going. As MrBeast was tapping his inner archaeologist, Logan was left standing by himself.
Has MrBeast ever collaborated with Logan before?
This wouldn’t have been their first rodeo. Back in November 2024, Paul and MrBeast (along with fellow YouTuber-turned-businessman KSI) teamed up to launch a food product called Lunchly, a grab-and-go meal.
They even took their launch party to India, appearing at Mumbai’s Jio World Drive Mall to promote Lunchly, MrBeast’s Feastables, and Prime Hydration.
