Finn Jones expressed that he wanted to reprise his role as Danny Rand in Iron Fist. However, the claims didn't appeal to the audience, and many revealed that they were not ready for him to make a comeback to the MCU.

Iron Fist first premiered in 2017 on Netflix and comprised two seasons. Adapted from the Marvel comic, the series was one of the four MCU features in Marvel. However, as several fan favorites were removed from Netflix, Iron Fist was removed in 2018. However, not many were outraged over this particular cancelation.

The reason is that it failed to appeal to MCU fans. Some blamed the screenwriting, but others resented the cast, especially Finn Jones as the protagonist. At a recent anime convention in Mexico, Jones broke the silence on the matter. He claimed that he did not turn a deaf ear to the criticism, but he needs another shot to prove that he could impress fans as Iron Fist.

“I’m very aware of the critiques of the character and my role in it. My response to that is: give me a f*cking chance, man. I’m here and I’m ready, and I wanna prove people wrong.”
