As Jaws is all set to return to theatres and sink its teeth into the realm of nostalgic entertainment, fans are feeling old as they are still in disbelief that a whooping 50 years have passed since its release in 1975.

We don't need to be good at maths to realize how far ahead we've come. The franchise has made a total of three sequels: Jaws 2, Jaws 3-D, and Jaws: The Revenge. With these many movies about sharks munching on unsuspecting tourists, one thing is for sure: humor is pivotal in diluting some ominous tension.
