The internet might’ve lost it but someone in Sydney reportedly found the orange slide that Drake threw at a drone. Yes, the same one that took flight, failed its mission, and vanished into the abyss has now washed ashore.

A fan apparently found a soiled orange slide washed up on the shore in Sydney and said it was the same one Drake tossed at the drone.

Naturally, social media erupted, with the lucky fan posting a video of the sand-covered slide. Jokes flew about its newfound fame, and some even speculated it could sell for over $1,000.

A user commented:

"I don't think people realize how unemployed you have to be to go out your day and search for a flip-flop"

This is a full-time side quest.

A user said:

"You’ll find hundreds of single orange slides for sell on eBay now"

And some poor soul is about to bid their rent money on it.

A user speculated:

"Drake set this up for sure"

Yet another case cracked by Detective Obvious.

A user subtly roasted, saying:

"Fake. Drake can't throw that far"

This user sounds like they’ve seen Drake throw once and never recovered.

One user quipped:

"Sure as if someone would believe that"

You’d be surprised what people will believe for clout.

A user humorously stated

"Did he use a rocket launcher to get it that far? Let’s be realistic."

At this point, he might as well claim he did.

Drake vs. the Drone: Sydney showdown

You’d think a global superstar chilling in his penthouse and enjoying life would be safe from aerial intrusions. But the skies had other plans, and so did a drone that decided to roll up on Drake’s Sydney penthouse.

The video that broke the internet shows Drake, mid-chill, noticing the drone hovering just outside his balcony.

A normal person might close the curtains, call security, or just ignore it. But Drizzy took decisive action by launching an orange slide at it.

And the best part is that he missed badly.

Was it all a setup?

Not everyone was convinced this was a case of pure rage against the machine.

The detective squad of the internet got to work, and within hours, theories were all around.

Exhibit A: In the viral video, Drake’s laptop displays the branding of the gambling site Stake. Not everyone agreed that this was a coincidence. Users speculated it to be a cleverly disguised promo move.

Exhibit B: A sharp-eyed observer pointed out what seemed to be the drone pilot’s reflection in the glass behind Drake. If true, that would mean this wasn’t some rogue paparazzi mission but rather a well-orchestrated spectacle.

Adding even more fuel to the speculation fire, Drake posted about the incident on Instagram.

He posted a screenshot of his dramatic slipper toss, plus photos of him rocking a sweatshirt that read “Stake” and another with “Anita Max Win Tour.”

The caption read:

“The stakes are high…but so am I.”

Was this his way of confirming it was a promo stunt? Was he just leaning into the chaos?

The truth is… we don’t know.
