YouTube sensation MrBeast, known for his outrageous stunts and record-breaking giveaways, was recently involved in a high-speed crash at the Formula E Evo Sessions event in Miami. At the event, he got behind the wheel of the high-speed GEN3 Evo racing car to test his driving abilities—only to spin out in dramatic fashion.
At this point, nobody is even expecting the internet to be sympathetic. Users wasted no time cracking jokes, immediately calling it a publicity stunt and pointing out that this is just classic MrBeast behavior.
An X user (@Scopey_13Alt) stated:
"I mean he isn’t a Formula E driver what did they expect."
Maybe he just wanted a YouTube thumbnail moment.
A user (@AllTypaShii) speculated:
"Bro was like you know what I'm so loaded anyway let's crash this thing on purpose as a publicity stunt 😭😭"
Millionaire problems, duh!
One user (@BillPrinter00) humorously mentioned:
"Praying Jimmy is okay but I can’t wait to see it in the YouTube video 💀"
One more user (@JMerps95) added fuel to the fire stating:
"Means nothing to him. will probably end up making a video on it."
He’s about to profit more from the video than the car cost.
A user (@UpToTheMinuteFF) joked:
"MrBeast is on his irresponsible celebrity arc."
Serving a roast, a user (@pro6lema) commented:
"lol imagine having all that money and still driving like you got your license from a cereal box 💀"
At least he didn’t have to call Jake from State Farm after this one.
A user (@luanaxbelle) sarcastically noted:
"It was reported he then bought the entire F1 to apologize."
MrBeast crashes Formula E car at Miami Evo Sessions
MrBeast (real name Jimmy Donaldson) was invited to the VIP Evo Sessions, where celebrities and influencers are allowed to experience the rush of piloting Formula E's newest bleeding-edge electric race cars.
He started strong, keeping pace behind the Porsche Taycan Safety Car on the Miami International Autodrome to familiarize himself with the track and the GEN3 Evo's wild horsepower.
But on his second lap, tragedy struck.
While heading towards a left turn in Sector 1, MrBeast lost control, and the car went into a spectacular 360-degree spin before hitting the wall.
The accident temporarily brought the session to an abrupt stop. Fortunately, he was not injured and walked away from the crash unscathed.
The car he wrecked was a Cupra Kiro GEN3 Evo, normally piloted by German racing ace David Beckmann.
Even after the crash, MrBeast just shrugged it off, joking with the crew, "I did the thing…" as he walked back to the pit lane.
Another driver, Dan Ticktum, was seen on camera grinning while the team evaluated the damage. Maybe everyone loves a good smash—as long as nobody gets injured.
What makes the GEN3 Evo so crazy?
Formula E's GEN3 Evo is not a typical race car—it's the quickest-accelerating single-seater on the planet.
Here's why:
0-60 mph in 1.82 seconds—30% quicker than a Formula 1 car
All-wheel drive for breathtaking grip and agility
A powertrain that harvests almost 50% of its energy back from braking
In short, it's a beast (no pun intended), and even seasoned drivers find it hard to master.
The Evo Sessions provide an immersive Formula E experience, welcoming high-profile visitors to the exciting world of electric motorsport.
This year's Miami event featured a star-studded list of guests, including:
Former footballer Sergio Aguero
Actor Tom Felton (the one and only Draco Malfoy)
Supercar Blondie, one of the most well-known figures in car culture
All participants underwent simulator training, physical fitness tests, and driver mentoring before hitting the track.
