Jon Favreau simply can't lose at Disney+. Having conquered galaxies far, far away with The Mandalorian and brought CGI jungle beasts to life in The Jungle Book and The Lion King, he's now targeting Disney's first forgotten classic - Oswald the Lucky Rabbit.

Yes, that long-lost, sassy bunny bunny who ambled so Mickey Mouse could trot is finally having his time in the sun. Favreau is working on a hybrid live-action/animated Oswald series for Disney+, combining state-of-the-art visuals with the rabbit's century-long attitude issue.
