Fans of the series Breaking Bad are losing their minds over just how much Walter White's house is selling for right now. The beloved house has been listed for a staggering $4 million, and no, it does NOT come with the pizza on the rooftop (fans of the series will get the reference).
With the news breaking out on X, chatter surrounding the price tag has been growing louder and louder. While some users claim it wouldn't be priced so high if it weren't for the show, others contend that this is a memorable structure and that the price tag should have been higher, if anything. The bottom line is that the reactions have been hilarious.
Here's what one user quipped, for example:
"I guess the owner got tired of guarding the house, to prevent people from throwing pizza on the roof."
The comments didn't end there, though, with even more chiming in with their own memes and pointed remarks:
"$4 million…if it comes with the Meth lab," another demanded, sarcastically.
"Meth comes with it?" someone else asked.
"Oh man my max budget was 3.9," a third user jokingly shared.
One man with the profile name "Walter White" also chimed in, humorously commenting:
"I didn't consent to this."
Everything to know about Walter White's house as the listing is now live
The Breaking Bad house is located in Albuquerque, New Mexico. It boasts four bedrooms and one bathroom within the 1,910 sq. ft. property. Notably, Zillow puts its real estimate at just $343,100, a far cry from what the owners are asking.
As for the realtors in charge, David Christensen and Sonya Avila of Christensen Group | eXp Realty Luxury and Ryan Johnston of InterPhase Entertainment have been given the listing of Walter White's house.
Christensen spoke to AP News on Friday (January 3, 2025), revealing that it was busy for the realtors as the listing has now gone live. He revealed that investors have taken a keen interest in the property, with some even proposing to make it a museum.
Over a decade since the show began, fans have been swarming to catch a glimpse of Walter White's house from all over the world, Joanne Quintana, daughter of the late owners, told KOB-TV. She revealed that her parents purchased the same in 1973, and it was there that she and her siblings were raised. However, upon her parents' passing, all of them decided it was time to move on.
"This was our family home from 1973, almost 52 years," she told the station. "So we're going to walk away with just our memories. It's time to move on. We're done. There's no reason to fight anymore."
In the wake of the listing going live, the realtor company has since set up a website to offer potential investors a better view of the home.
