Seth Rogen is your average all-rounder man—name it, and he might have done it. But did you know that he once tried to make a Where's Waldo film?

According to his recent interview, the actor tried doing a Where's Waldo film, but life happened and he got tired of doing the film, making Where's Waldo a No, Waldo (via @DiscussingFilm/X).

They wrote,

“Waldo does nothing, he literally is just hiding. The shit happening around him is more interesting… everyone’s asking Where’s Waldo, we’re asking Who’s Waldo”

Fans' funny reactions to Seth Rogen's Where's Waldo project

Because of the actor opening up about the shelved project, fans poked fun at the actor, commenting that they feel what Seth Rogen was feeling because they, too, are more interested in the background instead of finding Waldo. (via @MEarthprime/X)

Fans also trolled the shelved Where's Waldo film, saying that if the movie came to fruition, they bet the movie experience for the cinemagoers is going to be wild and bonkers.

"That actually sounds like an awesome movie. I can just imagine everyone in the theater at the edge of their seats looking for him, then some guy shouts, “THERE HE IS! HE’S RIGHT THERE!” and the whole theater goes wild," a fan said (via @CJAYZZZZZZZZ/X)

Other fans also joked that the Waldo film should be an art film that is shot in one take so it'll be aesthetically pleasing and mind-bending.

Some fans also roasted the film, stating that it's a good thing Seth didn't push through with the film because it'll be random AF if it was greenlit! (via @ArchersInsights/X)

Fans also hilariously suggested actors to play the role of Waldo should the actor revive the film project, and the number one on the list to play Waldo is John Mulaney. We 100% agree because John Mulaney looks like Waldo! (via @SourdeathSam/X)

A few netizens also clowned the shelved film, commenting that the reason it is shelved is because they can't find an actor to play the titular role of Waldo. Hello, John Mulaney is right there!

"The problem is they can't find an actor for it," an X user remarked (via @First_alphas/X)

Other X users also LOLed at Seth Rogen's revelation, saying that he should have been higher than a kite when he thought of making a Where's Waldo movie.

"Interesting indeed. However, I bet he was higher than a kite when he thought of that," one netizen commented (via @SinistousStudio/X)

And finally, one netizen hilariously suggested that Seth should add the Where's Waldo plot to his Apple TV+ show, The Studio, so that the show will be funnier and more unserious!

"God I hope that’s the plot of one of The Studio episodes," a fan shared (via @SaltyBuc91/X)

Why was Where's Waldo film shelved?

The reason it was shelved is because Hollywood can't think of a big idea about making Waldo come to life, and you know Hollywood, if there's no big idea towards a film, it will not materialize; that's why the Where's Waldo film got shelved.

According to news, the interest for a Where's Waldo film adaptation started in 2009, but a lot of things have happened in Hollywood, making the film adaptation unnoticed—until Seth Rogen was said to create the film adaptation!

The actor kept mum about his role in creating a Where's Waldo film, but just like what we said, life and circumstances happened; that's why the actor did not push through with the film.

It's a good thing that Seth Rogen did not push through with the Where's Waldo film because, let's face it, not every pop culture thing is meant to be turned into a film, especially if that "thing" has a strong legacy to its fans!
