Elon Musk’s quirky humor is well-known. The tech mogul behind Tesla and SpaceX has caused a stir on the internet (again) with his antics. On X (formerly Twitter), in a series of posts that started at night on Sunday (November 24) and continued to the early morning of Monday, Musk jokingly declared himself a “3,000-year-old vampire.” This was immediately followed up with jokes, memes, and conspiracy theories from his 206.1 million followers. A video of Musk saying, "I keep telling people I'm an alien, but nobody believes me" went viral.

A user conspiracy theory read, "Elon Musk has been spotted as far back as 1892. He's either a vampire alien, or Tesla already created a time machine, and Elon's trolling us from the past."
Another user stated, "That's why he wanted to go to Mars and settle down 😅"
A third user joined saying, "What if Elon Musk is actually a time-traveling vampire alien who’s building Starship to return to his home planet?"
A user joked saying, "Now I understand why he doesn't get tan on summer 😁"
Assuming an alien identity, a user went on to hilariously ask, "I am an alien from outer space. Who is Elon Musk? Please explain as briefly as possible."

A knock at 2:30 A.M.

The saga began at 2:30 a.m. when Musk shared an odd meme. He joked:

“My neighbor knocked on my door at 2:30 a.m. Luckily I was still up playing my bagpipes.”

The post, funny and somewhat mysterious was making fans contemplate why the billionaire was up so late.

From vampire to time-traveller

When more fans got involved, Musk went even deeper into the joke. When a commentator asked:

“You don’t sleep because you’re a vampire?”

The user also attached a screenshot where Musk had commented on a post stating:

“Full disclosure, I’m actually a 3,000-year-old vampire. It’s such a trial assuming these false identities over the centuries!”

Now, Musk upped the ante, stating:

“I’m a time-traveling vampire!”.

When the user joked stating that they thought Musk was an "alien", the billionaire added another twist:

“Time-traveling, vampire alien.”

The eagle-eyed user had up an old picture of him posing as a fighter pilot from 1914 that he had posted ironically but added more to the narrative.

Historical doppelgängers

Another tangent of the conversation emerged when Musk began replying to threads with people who looked like him in history. Fans have been speculating that Musk bears an uncanny resemblance to some individuals from the years gone by, leading to tedious jokes about the alleged eternal life.

On top of all this, Musk changed his X profile to “verified since 3000 BCE” – which went viral and everyone started creating memes. One user joked:

“Elon Musk’s X Profile says he’s verified since 3000 BCE. Yesterday, he posted that he is a time-traveling, vampire alien.”

Musk reposted it, saying:

“See, this proves that I’m a time-traveling vampire alien! Even though I’m 5000 years old, I think I look much younger.”
