Tangled, Kathryn Hahn: ‘Can she sing though?’: Fans react hilariously to Kathryn Hahn rumored as Mother Gothel in Disney’s live-action ‘Tangled'

Two things can make a Disney fan go into a fangirling and fanboying frenzy when it comes to news: Kathryn Hahn from Agatha All Along and the Tangled live-action adaptation.

This weekend, @PopTingz tweeted on X that Kathryn Hahn is rumored to play Mother Gothel, and well...fans got excited and got all hyped up on what will happen to this casting if this may be true.

Many of the replies on the tweet range from questioning if Kathryn Hahn can sing (trust us, she can! She's part of the Wandavision universe!) or if she's fit enough to play Rapunzel's "mom," Mother Gothel.

Aside from the questions of whether she can sing or if she's past her prime to play Mother Gothel, a lot of X users quipped that Kathryn Hahn can kidnap them if she's indeed, Mother Gothel.

Kathryn Hahn's other projects

Aside from the rumored 'Tangled' live-action adaptation, Kathryn Hahn will also star as the next-door crush of Bull, which is named Honey, in the adult comedy animated film "Fixed." The movie is still under wraps but according to Sony Pictures Animation, "Fixed" is about Bull, an average all-around good dog who needs to have an adventure of a lifetime with his friends.

Besides the film, "Fixed", Kathryn Hahn will also star in the AppleTV-produced Show, which is titled, "The Studio." The series focuses on the daily struggle of Matt Remick (played by Seth Rogen) as he faces challenges by saving a company.

Aside from her upcoming projects, Kathryn Hahn has also been nominated in the Independent Spirit Awards (Best Lead Performance in a New Scripted Series) and in the Saturn Awards (Best Actress in a Television Series) for her role in Agatha All Along.

Rumor or not, we are all excited about the possible live-action adaptation of Tangled and we are also excited for Kathryn Hahn's up-and-coming projects. Just like what social media users say, "Mother always slays!" and that's on what? PERIOD.
