Marvel's revival of the 1992-1997 X-Men: The Animated Series, called X-Men '97, was nothing short of X-ceptional, as fans loved seeing their favorite mutants return in their classic designs with modern animation. Ever since then, they've been eagerly awaiting more seasons, and luckily for them, Marvel seems to be way ahead of the game.

Lenore Zann, the voice of Rogue in X-Men '97, recently revealed at the Indiana Comic Convention panel that voice recording for season 3 will begin next week. The news has left fans ultra-hyped, knowing that just a year after the show's March 2024 debut, not only is season 2 ready, but season 3 is already in the works.

Hilarious Fan Reactions

While fans were thrilled that season 3 is already in progress before season 2 even drops, they also had plenty of hilarious reactions to share.

"Can we get season 2 now ?" asked a fan.

Whoa, whoa, whoa - slow down, Marvel! We know you're gearing up for season 3 of X-Men '97, but how about dropping season 2 first? Give the fans what they want!

"So… how many seasons are we getting? cause I need at least 5," another wrote.

Now that’s a high compliment, as fans are already craving at least five seasons after just one! Looks like Marvel might need to fast-track seasons 4 and 5 once they wrap up recording for season 3.

Well, now that season 3 is about to begin voice recording next week, it’s safe to say season 2 is speeding toward our screens - just like Wolverine charging at his enemy in this GIF!

"Can’t wait for the ‘90s nostalgia and the 2025 budget 💸," a fan joked.

X-Men: The Animated Series (1992-1997) was beloved by many. So what happens when you mix that 90s nostalgia with 2025 animation technology and budget? Pure entertainment gold, which is exactly what X-Men '97 delivers, as this fan suggests.

"Sweet. I love how they are moving as quickly as possible to not leave the fans dangling for years in between seasons like the last season of Yellowstone🤣🤪," commented another.

Marvel seems to be keeping X-Men '97 fans happy by releasing seasons on time. And this fan thinks they took notes on what not to do from Yellowstone, which took two years just to release part two of the same season.

Marvel isn't wasting any time, already wrapping up the next season before even releasing the previous one. Now that’s what you call giving the fans what they want! X-Men '97 is available to watch on Disney+.
