Elmo & SZA's Friendship

Elmo and SZA's friendship is deeper than how it looks! Last year, in March 2024, SZA guested on Sesame Street, fulfilling her childhood dreams, and interacting with the Sesame Street gang—and this cemented Elmo and SZA's friendship!

Aside from SZA guesting on Sesame Street, she instantly became friends with the muppets gang, such as Oscar the Grouch, Big Bird, Abby Cadabby, and yes, even ELMO! SZA is also Sesame Street's "honorary muppet," making her part of the Sesame Street friends, too!

Rizz King or not, we're ~slightly~ jealous of Elmo because he is friends with SZA and can check up on SZA no matter what the time is! Also, we think that Elmo and SZA being friends is cool because SZA can help Elmo sing some songs—especially her songs and Elmo can help SZA unpack her problems and even share her feelings with him without being judged!

Now, we love this powerful friendship and are excited with Elmo and SZA's interactions on X (formerly Twitter) in the near future!
