Hershey’s is set to make a chocolate movie. A live-action movie is being made about this world-famous chocolate company, however, nothing much has been revealed other than the lead cast- Alexandra Daddario & Finn Wittrock.
Hershey's movie is being directed by Mean Girls' director Mark Waters. The Hershey’s film would most likely portray the story of the lives of Milton Hershey, his wife, Kitty Hershey, and their chocolate empire.
In 1909, Milton and Kitty Hershey founded the Industrial School, which provided free education and housing for orphans and poor children. Milton transferred most of his wealth to the Milton Hershey School Trust 20 years before his death, which later became one of the richest scholarship funds in the country.
They built a city around the chocolate factory. This factory city had theaters, entertainment centers, and public transportation only for its employees.
The Hershey’s movie shall throw light upon not just a story about the founding of a chocolate company, but the couple's life, aspirations, and philanthropy.
Pete Gert, president of the Milton Hershey School, revealed:
Milton and Kitty Hershey's greatest achievement was not chocolate, but the way they built a school and a home for underprivileged children. This movie will show us how their philanthropy helped change society.

IDK….it’s not really about chocolate is it? Seeing them just makes me feel like it’s a horror movie or a thriller with people being killed. There’s no Willy Wonka here.

The Hershey’s movie is being produced by Dandelion Media and Hershey Entities. The film is set to be released in 2026, marking the 250th anniversary of America's founding. Filming will begin in Pennsylvania in May. Although no distributor has been finalized, fans cannot wait to watch it in theaters.
