Science class has become a meme hero, and the Internet is to blame for it. A recent research showed that incorporating memes in biology class enhances the game of learning for Gen Z students.
This study by researchers from Ateneo de Manila University used 200 less enthusiastic Grade 11 students regarding science. In one squad, students received traditional comprehensive biology lessons based on textbooks, in another, students were taught with memes.
Five weeks later, those meme-learners achieved 21% more on their test scores.
Science is still a mystery to some, but add a meme or two and watch the student get all A’s. Meanwhile, here are 20 memes that can help make your next biology class a whole lot more enjoyable.
