Victoria Waldrip, better known as social media influencer Woah Vicky, seems to have landed in fresh controversy after faking her kidnapping and then claiming that she was just joking. Woah Vicky's latest drama in real life brings back to mind an incident from 2018 when she was only 17.

Woah Vicky was arrested for trespassing upon private property and allegedly assaulting a police officer at the Four Seasons Town Centre Mall in Greensboro, North Carolina, in February 2018. She faced charges of trespassing, assaulting a law enforcement officer, and resisting arrest, according to the Greensboro Police Department.

According to The New York Post, authorities stated that Woah Vicky was asked to leave the mall multiple times by security and police officers. When she refused, officers attempted to detain her, but she reportedly resisted arrest and kicked an officer during the struggle.

Adding to the chaos, a man accompanying Woah Vicky allegedly began shouting and causing a scene, which escalated the situation. Panicked mall-goers began screaming and running, after someone in the crowd falsely claimed there was an active shooter on the premises.

Emergency dispatchers received several calls reporting a shooter, but officers quickly confirmed that there was no actual threat. Ultimately, Woah Vicky was the only person taken into custody following the commotion.

As reported by The New York Post, despite frequently portraying herself as a Black woman in controversial social media content, Woah Vicky, a blond, fair-skinned Georgia native, was officially listed as white in the police report.

As reported by 11 Alive, Vicky had posted a video of her arrest along with her mugshot on Instagram, In the now-deleted post, she wrote:

"They reason for arresting us is because 'there were too many kids coming up to us asking for pictures' But we out now that’s all that matters ❤️🙌🏽 god is good glad to be home with my fam"
