Australian soccer player Sam Kerr recently won a high-profile court case after she was accused of racially aggravated harassment. The Chelsea forward and Matildas captain had been accused of using racially offensive language toward a Metropolitan police officer in London in January 2023.

But following a six-day trial at Kingston Crown Court, the jury took just over four hours to release a not guilty verdict on Kerr.
