Why did Noushin Faraji sue Fox News?
According to USA Today, Noushin Faraji has claimed that she was s*xually harassed by Skip Bayless and Charlie Dixon. Part of her lawsuit reads,
"Faraji brings forth this action because for over a decade at Fox, she was forced to endure a misogynistic, racist and ableist workplace where executives and talent were allowed to physically and verbally abuse workers with impunity."
Faraji alleged that Dixon rubbed her body and grabbed her in 2017 at a party for Joy Taylor in West Hollywood. When she went to tell Taylor about the incident, the latter reportedly asked her to get over it. She further mentioned that Dixon used his position to force women to sleep with him.
The lawsuit further read,
"As Fox knew or should have known of Mr. Dixon’s willingness and propensity to use his position to sexually harass women, Fox is liable for the materialization of that particular harm."
Further in the lawsuit, Faraji claimed that Skip Bayless offered her $1.5 million to have intercourse with him. Mentioning Taylor, the hairstylist claimed that the FS1 co-host insulted her on both personal and professional levels.
In a statement to the news portal, Fox Sports mentioned taking these allegations seriously.
"We take these allegations seriously and have no further comment at this time given this pending litigation."
More details about the lawsuit are awaited. Moreover, Skip Bayless has not addressed the claims against him yet.
