Isaac Hayes III is the son of iconic R&B producer and singer, Isaac Hayes. While he inherited his name from his late father, Hayes has made mark in the music industry, too, as a producer. Besides making music, Hayes has also started a social media platform named Fanbase.

Earlier this year, Hayes made headlines when he filed a case against President-elect Donald Trump. According to a BBC report, the Hayes family sued the then-presidential nominee for using their father's music during his political rallies.

For the unversed, the late Isaac Hayes is considered among pioneers who paved way for Black musicians and singers in the country. The Hayes family had demanded $3 million in licensing fees for using their father's song over two years.

However, Isaac Hayes III is now in the news for his encounter with a reportedly racist woman on Christmas Eve.

Isaac Hayes III shares racist incident on Instagram

Taking to his Instagram handle, Isaac Hayes III shared a video of a woman, holding the leash of her dog, allegedly stopping him from entering his community. The woman claimed she was on the board of the community where he lives. Moreover, the woman verbally abused him and asked him to "be white."

Sharing the clip, Hayes explained the incident and wrote,

"Christmas Eve Karen: I’ve never seen a Karen in the wild. Well tonight I had my first up close encounter with one. I stayed calm, I made no sudden movements and got away as quickly as I could."
"Outside of preventing me from entering my community, cursing at me and telling me I should be 'White'. It’s pretty surreal."
"White Supremacy is crashin out all 2025. Be safe," Hayes concluded.

Netizens are irked by the incident and many of them have asked Isaac Hayes III to report the woman to the board for her racist attitude. One of them wrote:

"She’s clearly drunk. You should go to the board and show them this video."

Another penned:

"Yes, she may be drunk, but when some people drink, they tell you how they really feel. I hope you plan to share this video with the board."

Many lauded Isaac Hayes III for handling the situation "well". A netizen wrote:

"You’re very kind staying composed and not giving her the same treatment, still told her have a good evening and all."

Isaac Hayes III has not updated fans yet about what step he took against the woman. However, the video has gone viral.
