Elon Musk has faced criticism from Groypers for supporting H1B visa policies, which grant foreign nationals flexibility to work in the U.S. This stance has drawn ire from the group, who believe such policies undermine American jobs and culture. Musk’s position on immigration contrasts with their more nationalist views, leading to tension between him and the far-right factions.

According to NBC News, Groypers are a far-right, anti-Semitic, and homophobic group linked to online trolling communities. The name originates from a meme featuring a frog, which is popular in forums like 4chan and Reddit. Led by alt-right figure Nick Fuentes, the Groypers have reportedly gained attention for disrupting conservative events with controversial, racist, anti-gay, and anti-Semitic questions, per the outlet.

In the video, Sam Hyde spoke directly to Elon Musk and said:

"The guy who is the free speech guy. And not only that, but the reasoning from first principles guy, logical fallacy guy, the reddit guy, good faith arguing with everybody... blanket banning Groypers taking away blue checks, changing the algorithm of the site because a 100 people ratioed you coz there's fifty-thousand posts."

Hyde went on to say that the comments were by real people and it was wrong of Elon to blanket them. Sam Hyde continued:

"They're all organic by the way, this is not some Russian bot farm, it's not some nefarious behind the scene let's mess with Elon Musk. "

He said that Elon treated people's reactions glibly and dismissively. He also said that people love Elon and will forgive him and that they broadly understand that he is a San Francisco Tech California International immigrant.
